This recipe is taken from the Bartender’s Pocket Guide by Kathy Hamlin © 2005. The original drink is a little high in sugar, so I gave it a Presbyterian (future post) make-over by cutting the ginger ale in half with seltzer. I like a lot of lime juice, but you can adjust the lime juice to your specific taste.
Transfusion
3 oz of grape juice
3 oz of ginger ale
3 oz seltzer
1 T lime juice
Cubed ice
Fill a pint glass with cubed ice. Build drink with grape juice, ginger ale, seltzer and lime juice. Garnish with a lime wheel.
