This is quite possibly the perfect non-alcoholic beverage for a Tuesday that feels like a Monday.<\/p>\n

I was introduced to this drink by a Bucks County bartender who served ginger ale and bitters to a friend who was complaining of nausea.\u00a0 I have made a few refinements that turn this easy-to-prepare mocktail into an event in a glass.<\/p>\n

I recommend using the best quality ginger beer you can find or if you prefer something with less bite look for a ginger ale made with real ginger.\u00a0 I chose Black Walnut Bitters for their earthy taste which sets-off the sharpness of the ginger beer.<\/p>\n

Any thin slice of citrus will work, this one has a lemon, but a thin orange wheel is very attractive as well.<\/p>\n

Tummy Tamer<\/p>\n

1 7.5 oz can of Ginger Beer<\/p>\n

5-6 Dashes of Black Walnut Bitters<\/p>\n

Cubed ice<\/p>\n

Slice of citrus<\/p>\n

Fill a rocks glass \u00be full with cubed ice (the larger the better).\u00a0 Pour in Ginger beer and dash the bitters over the top.\u00a0 Top with a slice of citrus.<\/p>\n
