I developed this drink about a decade ago for a charitable cookbook. It is a twist the classic cranberry cooler, perhaps a future post, where the orange juice takes the place of the triple sec that would be in a Cosmopolitan—making the drink a little sweeter. You can also substitute Rose’s Sweetened Lime juice for regular lime juice to help cut through the tartness of the cranberry juice.
Not-Mopolitan
1 cup of cranberry juice
2 T of lime juice
1 T of orange juice
Crushed ice
Fill a pint glass half way with crushed ice. Build on ice with cranberry juice, lime juice and orange juice. Give it a quick stir with a bar spoon and garnish with a lime wedge.
